Europêche, the European trade body representing 80,000 fishermen and 45,000 vessels across nine EU member states, needed help countering negative, outdated myths about the fishing industry and its methods. Definition, a maritime PR agency, was brought in to help communicate a more positive and consumer-friendly view of the sector.

Definition delivered an integrated communications campaign that included the launch of iFish, an interactive consumer information portal, and a pan-European survey on attitudes toward fishing. The campaign generated more than 200 pieces of international coverage, won widespread praise across Europe, and earned the Issues and Reputation Management category at the European Excellence Awards 2015.
