Deepomatic provided the Smart Checkout solution, using its computer vision platform with a camera-equipped terminal and edge deployment to identify tray contents in seconds. Trained on 1 million photos to recognize 10,000+ products and recipes, the system cut checkout times to under 10 seconds per customer, achieved 92% very satisfied customers, and had 37 terminals deployed with a target of 90 by the end of 2020.
