Navitas, a major provider of tertiary education services, faced the challenge of successfully onboarding its large cohort of international students, many of whom suffered from unaddressed anxieties that impacted their early university experience. To better prepare students for college life, Navitas partnered with Deepend to develop a mobile application solution.

Deepend created the Orientation Go app, a gamified platform that acclimatizes students to their new campus through non-linear learning and social referencing. The decoupled architecture allowed for efficient development. The pilot saw an uptake of over 50%, with qualitative feedback confirming the app had a positive impact on students' entry into university in Australia.
