Nonghyup Bank (NH Bank), a leading South Korean banking institution, faced the challenge of lagging behind its key competitors in technological innovation, specifically in AI implementation. To differentiate itself in the digital banking landscape, the bank partnered with vendor DeepBrain AI to adopt its AI Human technology and enhance its customer service offerings.
DeepBrain AI developed two custom AI avatars for NH Bank, created from a data pool of 200 employees to ensure unique and representative virtual bankers. The solution, which achieved a 96.7% lip-syncing accuracy and featured 18 different gestures, was deployed on kiosks to provide 24/7 customer assistance. This implementation by DeepBrain AI significantly improved customer experience by reducing wait times, increased staff efficiency, and ensured consistent service. The project was so successful that NH Bank officially recognized the AI avatars as employees, issuing them ID cards and registration numbers.
