The Middle Eastern Navy needed a secure way to link its enterprise network with tactical units, enabling safe information exchange between onshore sites, mobile units, HQ, the army, and air force. It chose Deep Secure’s Policy Enforcement and Threat Removal products to help implement an Information Exchange Gateway (IEG) aligned to NATO best practices, with requirements for high availability, redundancy, modularity, and reuse of existing systems.

Deep Secure designed and built the IEG’s Information Exchange Services and Information Protection Services, supporting channels such as web browsing, email, military messaging, chat, directory replication, and ship-to-shore applications. Deep Secure’s deep content inspection, protocol proxying, file checking, AV scanning, labeling, and Threat Removal technology delivered secure, threat-free cross-domain communication; the solution is already deployed in one SOC with plans to expand to two more, helping reduce implementation risk and support 24/7 operations.
