Bowtie Life Insurance, the first virtual insurer in Hong Kong, needed a way to find specialist talent beyond its limited local pool as it grew in the fast-moving InsurTech market. To overcome the challenge, Bowtie turned to Deel and its EOR solution to support international hiring and workforce expansion without the cost and complexity of setting up local entities.
With Deel, Bowtie expanded into four new markets and hired 15 teammates over the last two years, while also supporting employee relocations and offering localized compensation and benefits packages. Deel helped Bowtie streamline hiring, onboarding, and global payroll, delivering about one-third in cost savings compared with establishing entities on its own and enabling the company to attract and pay global talent efficiently.
