Oakland County Sheriff’s Office expands DFR operations to 20 square miles with Dedrone

This enabled the agency to receive an FAA waiver and establish the nation's largest single-node operational area for such flights. The results include an average response time of under three minutes, with drones now responding to over 65% of emergency calls in their zones, enhancing responder safety and leading to successful, peaceful resolutions.
