The Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) Dresden Drone Unit, an emergency response team supporting police and fire services, faced a significant challenge to its operations. Unauthorized civilian drone flights created a severe collision risk for the unit's own 9 kg drone, making safe and effective Drone as First Responder (DFR) missions impossible without complete airspace awareness. Dedrone implemented its rapidly deployed drone detection system to provide real-time airspace data within a 5 km radius.
