HyperTrader partnered with Decimal to fix a bookkeeping process that was too slow and unreliable for its needs as it prepared for broker-dealer requirements. The previous outsourced bookkeeping provider was delivering books 15 to 20 business days into the next month, leaving HyperTrader without a current view of the business and forcing its team to chase down numbers.

Decimal implemented the bookkeeping engagement in just under a month, quickly uncovering and correcting errors left by the prior provider before tax season. As a result, HyperTrader got timely month-end books, better visibility, proper revenue recognition, and a major reduction in follow-up work, with Amar Gautam saying he now gets “perfect books” at month-end and can simply pull reports from QuickBooks.
