MoneyTap, India’s consumer lending platform, needed a faster and more reliable way to onboard customers and verify creditworthiness in a highly regulated lending environment. By working with Decentro and its banking/KYC APIs, MoneyTap aimed to simplify the credit application process while reducing the time and effort required to complete background checks and documentation.
Decentro implemented real-time KYC and identity verification through a single API endpoint for multiple documents, helping MoneyTap automate onboarding and credit checks. The result was up to a 95% reduction in customer onboarding time, real-time automated KYC processing, and the ability to handle over 20,000 KYC validations per day with strong uptime and fast response times.
