How FamPay Strengthened Their KYC Process

FamPay, India’s first neobank for teens with UPI, needed a faster and more reliable way to onboard teens and parents while preventing fraud. Their KYC process had to verify identities accurately for a teenage user base, and they wanted developer-friendly APIs with transparent pricing to streamline the workflow.

Decentro provided its KYC module to power FamPay’s identity checks, supporting Aadhaar-based verification and fallback document verification for PAN, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, and other IDs through a single API endpoint. With Decentro, FamPay automated KYC onboarding, handled traffic spikes with load balancing, rerouted requests through multiple network sources during downtime, and reduced queries while eliminating instances of fraud.
