Victoria Police, serving 4.6 million residents across 328 facilities, needed to transform a 160-year leadership culture from command-and-control to coaching and mentoring. To support this shift, the organization turned to DeakinCo. for leadership development and coaching support, including the Senior Management Leadership Development Program and related initiatives for its Crime Dept.

DeakinCo. delivered workshops, one-on-one coaching, a 360-degree feedback tool, and tailored coaching programs for senior officers and public service personnel. The results were strong and measurable: senior managers reported greater effectiveness, the program was extended across other departments, and Victoria Police retained DeakinCo. for a third consecutive year. In the Crime Dept, eight of nine executives coached continued working with their mentors, and leaders reported more positive, collaborative, and change-ready teams.
