Treasury Wine Estates (TWE), a major global wine company, needed to strengthen leadership capability as its business expanded rapidly across Asia. Following its demerger from Foster’s Group, TWE had to align staff across three continents and 16 countries while maintaining consistent, culturally nuanced communication across dozens of brands. To help address this challenge, TWE engaged DeakinCo. for leadership development support.

DeakinCo. delivered the four-day “Lead to Perform” workshop for TWE’s Asia management team, focusing on self-awareness, entrepreneurship, leadership and action orientation. The program used the Johari Window to deepen participants’ understanding of their strengths and blind spots, helping build stronger internal capability, networking and team cohesion. According to TWE, the investment was already paying dividends, with noticeable changes in leadership behaviours and a step change in ownership and drive in its biggest growth market.
