Personal Injury Education Foundation - Customer Case Study

Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF), a not-for-profit supporting the accident compensation industry, faced a sector-wide challenge: personal injury work is highly regulated, stressful, and struggling to attract and retain skilled staff. PIEF wanted to improve the availability and professionalism of talent by transferring better practice, integrating learning systems, and creating flexible education programs to develop future leaders. DeakinCo. was engaged to help design a specialised personal injury education program.

DeakinCo. worked with PIEF to create a customised suite of workplace-based certificate and diploma programs, articulated through to entry, graduate, and postgraduate study. The solution was described as a world-first and has helped re-engage staff, strengthen career pathways, and give employers greater confidence in future talent. Results were strongly positive, with praise from government and industry observers and enthusiastic student feedback, although no specific numerical impact was reported.
