CSR, a diverse building products company serving residential and commercial construction, wanted to better equip its Timber Products Division team leaders for current and future challenges. The challenge was to provide broad managerial, technical and personal skills development while also offering workplace relevance, multiple entry/exit points, and a formal tertiary qualification.

DeakinCo. worked with CSR to design and deliver a tailored training and qualification program through DeakinPrime, with each module built as a stand-alone unit aligned to CSR’s needs and processes. The solution led to the Deakin University Certificate in Technology Management, and participant business plan projects have already identified around $15 million in potential savings for CSR, prompting strong support from senior management.
