TruFood’s acquisition, Simply Natural Foods, goes live in just 4 months with Deacom

TruFood Manufacturing, a 30‑year contract manufacturer of nutrition and snack bars, acquired Simply Natural Foods and faced the challenge of unifying two separate ERP environments. Simply Natural’s legacy system offered poor material visibility and traceability, relied on paper processes, and caused inventory inaccuracies, stockouts and production delays. TruFood needed a fast, centralized, scalable solution and set an aggressive four‑month go‑live target.

By extending TruFood’s existing Deacom ERP to Simply Natural and focusing on mission‑critical processes, the implementation team achieved the four‑month rollout. Deacom delivered precise track‑and‑trace, consolidated finance and operations, reduced warehouse headcount from 10 to 7, cut cycle counts to once weekly (saving ~8 hours/week), minimized downtime and prevented unexpected stockouts—enabling TruFood to increase volume without adding staff and respond more nimbly to supply‑chain disruptions.
