Oadby Plastics - Customer Case Study

Oadby Plastics is a leading UK stockholder and processor of conveyor components and industrial plastics, operating across three sites with large warehousing and a heavy transport-dependent distribution network. The company faced fragmented CRM data, complex multi-site production and transport planning needs, and wanted a fast, usable e-commerce site to make its large product catalogue easier to find and buy online.

De Facto implemented an integrated ERP solution — Transport, Distribution, Manufacturing, web-based eCRM (with embedded BI), Financials — plus the On-Line Conveyors e-commerce site. The result was streamlined transport and load planning (weight-based capacity checks and drop sequencing), consolidated mobile CRM with improved data integrity, optimized multi-site production and stock use enabling efficient next-day delivery, and a searchable, performance-tuned e-commerce site that improved product discoverability and online sales.
