John E Fells & Sons, a leading UK fine wine importer and distributor established in 1845, operates from Berkhamsted with around 50 staff serving supermarkets, restaurants, hotels and other trade customers. They needed a system tailored to the complexities of the wine and drinks market — excise duty handling, complex customer pricing (including bonded accounts), mobile access for sales reps, an online trade ordering channel and easy access to high‑quality product media.

De Facto delivered its Distribution & Manufacturing module with configurable excise duty handling, price banding and automatic bonded‑customer pricing, plus an iPad‑compatible eCRM, a custom trade-order website integrated with the ERP and a Brand Asset Management media gallery.
