Hill’s Panel Products (HPP) is a UK distributor of sheet materials, doors and fittings for the furniture industry. As the business and product range expanded, HPP needed a truly integrated financials and logistics solution to manage complex mixed orders, in-house transport and load planning, multiple product-specific warehouse areas, and timely shop-floor reporting to support growth.
De Facto implemented a full ERP suite (Distribution & Manufacturing, Financials, CRM, DMS, WMS and BI) plus an integrated e-commerce site with customer “builders.” HPP moved to sales-order-driven production, automated warehouse and load/drop planning, and nightly BI data cubes for fast reporting. The result was significant efficiency and cost savings, a shift from made-for-stock to made-to-order, over 6,500 online orders processed, a record month of online sales (+20%) and a September turnover four times higher than the same month the previous year.
