Borusan reduces latency by almost 60% with DE-CIX

Borusan, a leading industrial conglomerate in Turkey, faced challenges with high latency and insufficient security when accessing cloud services over a site-to-site VPN or the public internet. To optimize network performance and meet its need for high availability for critical applications, Borusan decided to use the DirectCLOUD service from vendor DE-CIX.

DE-CIX implemented its DirectCLOUD solution, providing Borusan with a dedicated connection from its Istanbul location to the DE-CIX facility in Frankfurt and onward to Amsterdam. This solution significantly improved network performance by 51% and drastically reduced latency by almost 60%, bringing it down from 100ms to between 40-45ms.
