Cocoms, a Leeds-based health, food and fire safety compliance specialist, needed a better way to help hospitality and food businesses automate temperature recording and reporting. Working with DCSL Software Ltd, it set out to replace paper-based checks with a web-based solution that could reliably capture data and simplify compliance.

DCSL Software Ltd built the system using Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework, integrating it with the Saf-T-Log thermometer so readings transfer automatically via USB and are stored in a tamper-proof web database. The solution was ready within two months of the spec being completed, gives managers instant access to reports and alerts, and enabled Cocoms to launch a new subscription service and revenue stream for its clients.
