TechMarketView, a UK software and IT services research and analysis provider, needed to replace an aging company database that had become too rigid and difficult to scale as it planned to expand coverage from around 200 suppliers to several thousand. The old system lacked built-in reporting, forcing analysts to export data to Excel for analysis, which slowed progress and limited new product development. DCSL Software Ltd was brought in to help deliver a more flexible solution.

DCSL Software Ltd rebuilt the database using Microsoft ASP.NET technologies, creating two online portals for testing and live data entry, migrating existing company records, and adding integrated analysis, reporting, and strong data validation. The project was completed on schedule, and TechMarketView said comparisons that previously took several hours now take just a few minutes. The new system is highly scalable, can be modified by authorized analysts, and has already been enthusiastically adopted by the team.
