ECC Ltd, which serves universities and colleges across the UK, needed a custom job evaluation system because its off-the-shelf HERA software was inflexible, couldn’t be tailored, and left them without control over the design, performance, or reports. ECC Ltd turned to DCSL Software Ltd to replace the legacy system with a solution they could own and adapt to their needs.

DCSL Software Ltd redeveloped the platform using modern Microsoft technologies, including ASP.NET MVC5 and SQL Server 2012, and worked closely with ECC Ltd through prototyping, testing, and iterative feedback. The result was a mobile-optimized ECCHERA™ system, successful migration of member data in June 2015, and a highly positive user response, with end-user feedback reported as 99.9% positive.
