A DCSL Software Ltd Case Study

Preview of the NHS Central Eastern Commissioning Support Unit Case Study

NHS Central Eastern Commissioning Support Unit - Customer Case Study

NHS Central Eastern Commissioning Support Unit needed a simple, anonymous way for patients, GPs and other providers to comment or complain about healthcare services, following the Francis Report’s call for greater openness in the NHS. It partnered with DCSL Software Ltd to develop an Anonymous Issue Reporting System, later called iNotify, that could be embedded on websites or intranets or downloaded as a PC or mobile app.

DCSL Software Ltd built and delivered the secure .NET/SQL Server solution in just three months, enabling anonymous feedback with encrypted messaging and an optional response without revealing identities. The first rollout allowed GPs to report issues directly, and NHS Central Eastern CSU now has a low-cost, scalable tool that improves visibility of concerns and helps target service improvements faster, with potential to generate income through future licensing and resale.
