TIER Mobility, the Berlin-based micro-mobility provider, manages a fleet of 350,000+ e-scooters and e-bikes across 560+ cities. With dbt Labs’ dbt Cloud, TIER centralized and standardized its data workflows, enabling analysts to build scalable models, reduce dependency on engineers, and onboard new team members in about 1 hour. The platform also supported a migration from Redshift to Snowflake in six weeks with no downtime, and helped the team unlock major business impact, including a 500x increase in rides over four years and hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars in profit improvement from better demand prediction.
