Tempo, a rapidly growing smart home fitness company, needed a more scalable way to manage data as it grew from five to 300 people. With dbt Labs’ dbt Cloud and Stemma, Tempo modernized its data stack on Snowflake and Fivetran, adding automated testing, documentation, collaboration, and lineage tracking. The result was smoother migration, better data quality, faster ad hoc reporting, and improved efficiency—about 30% to 40% for certain data engineering tasks. Tempo also used Stemma to identify unused tables and improve ongoing data management.
