Canine Assistants, a nonprofit in Milton, Georgia that raises and trains service dogs, needed a better way to manage records, scheduling, and prescriptions as its operations grew. Dr. Kent Bruner and his team also wanted a cloud-based system they could access anywhere, especially because they often need to share dog medical histories with clinics and owners across the country.

DaySmart Vet provided the cloud-based veterinary practice management software that replaced their old system and made it easier to store, back up, and share continuous medical records for roughly 130 dogs on the farm and about 900 placed dogs. With DaySmart Vet, Canine Assistants can access records remotely, send information to other vets without going into the clinic, and keep business moving during disruptions like the pandemic, when they continued remote communication and smart operations.
