Journal Media Group, a Milwaukee-based media company with roots dating to 1878 and roughly 3,000 employees, needed a simple, scalable way to train its entire workforce on Ceridian’s Dayforce HCM after implementation. The challenge was to deliver comprehensive, easy-to-understand training that worked for HR, managers and a largely distributed/virtual staff, and that managers could reuse to train their own teams while providing on-the-job support.

Ceridian delivered a customized MyPath program—an Organizational Readiness Toolkit, role-based videos and bespoke content focused on Payroll & Tax, Time & Attendance and Self-Service—plus virtual train-the-trainer sessions. The result was rapid user adoption, fewer support calls, 24/7 access for remote employees, and a scalable, self-paced training model that minimized the need for broad instructor-led rollout.
