Irving Limited is a family-owned conglomerate headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick with over 15,000 employees across forestry, transportation, shipbuilding, retail, agriculture and food in Canada and the U.S. The company needed a single, cross-border wellness and Employee Assistance Program to serve four generations of workers across diverse industries and locations after struggling with inconsistent, disjointed provider support and uneven employee engagement.

Ceridian LifeWorks unified JDI’s Canadian and U.S. platforms into an adaptable, all-inclusive EAP that was customized by division, supported by nine divisional wellness champions and a dedicated account executive, and integrated into onboarding and relocation processes with multiple access options. The program improved individualized support and awareness, strengthened work–life balance, increased productivity and engagement, and left employees feeling better supported and informed about health and wellness.
