Farm Credit Foundations, the HR shared‑services co‑operative for the Farm Credit System, supports more than 9,400 employees and their families. When the COVID‑19 pandemic struck, the Foundations team needed to rapidly shift staff to remote work, adjust payroll timelines, manage new leaves of absence, and provide guidance on emergency pay, benefits, and compliance to ensure members continued to receive accurate pay and benefits.
Using Dayforce, a single cloud‑based HCM with payroll, HR, benefits, and time in one application, the team quickly configured new leave types, time rules, and payroll calculations to meet evolving mandates. With remote access and support from Ceridian and partners, Foundations maintained uninterrupted payroll and benefits processing, enabled managers and employees to submit and approve time and enroll in benefits from anywhere, and helped member associations continue serving rural communities.
