A Dayforce Case Study
Baptist Health South Florida, a Miami‑based health system with about 15,000 employees across eight hospitals and numerous outpatient sites, needed a standardized, scalable employee assistance program to support staff dealing with life and work pressures. With only two in‑house staff previously providing therapy and work‑life services, leadership sought a partner to expand offerings—covering financial education, legal support and broader EAP resources—while maintaining the organization’s “people helping people” culture.
Baptist Health partnered with Ceridian LifeWorks and built a proactive outreach model—introducing EAP at orientation, running departmental meetings and tabling events, delivering targeted mini‑workshops, monthly email campaigns and a mobile app—led by the BHSF LifeWorks team. The program delivered a 2.4:1 ROI (240% return), nearly $290,000 in turnover savings, over $272,000 in absenteeism savings, and strong employee outcomes (improved productivity 69%, missed less work 73%, reduced stress 75%, more likely to stay 77%).
