ATI Physical Therapy strengthens team growth

ATI Physical Therapy is a 22-year-old outpatient care provider with over 8,000 clinicians at 800 U.S. clinics, built on teamwork, communication and patient-focused care. Rapid growth (nearly 30x) and a nationwide shortage of clinicians exposed challenges in attracting and retaining talent, compounded by redundant manual HR processes, stacks of paper, and difficulty tracking employees.

To address this, ATI migrated to Ceridian Dayforce in 2016 as a single HCM for recruiting, onboarding, time, compensation, performance and benefits (with historical data moved via Dayforce MyVoice). The change eliminated manual work and produced measurable gains—about 800 hours saved annually in recruiting/onboarding, over 900 hours in payroll, and 200+ administrative hours—while the compensation module and greater transparency improved pay decision-making, retention and the company’s ability to scale.
