Acco Goes Live With Successful Dayforce Implementation

ACCO Brands Corporation, a global leader in branded office products based in Lake Zurich, IL, faced the challenge of moving away from a fully outsourced HR/payroll model after seven years with Ceridian. The company wanted cost savings, a unified U.S. and Canada HR platform, and to bring payroll back in-house — all while migrating and training roughly 3,000 U.S. employees for a January 1 "Big Bang" go-live.

ACCO adopted a co‑source model using Ceridian Dayforce HCM, supported by extensive process documentation, discovery sessions, testing and company-wide training. The implementation delivered about $500,000 in annual savings, enabled payroll for 3,000 employees to be processed in minutes with a two-person payroll team, simplified HR administration, created a North American shared-services platform, improved payroll auditing, and allowed HR to focus on strategic initiatives.
