Goodwill Southern California, one of the largest Goodwill members in North America, needed a better way to handle the complexity of donation-based retail, strict California labor rules, and staffing across 79 stores while supporting more than 3,000 employees. The organization partnered with Dayforce and used products including payroll, time and attendance, scheduling, recruiting, onboarding, learning, performance, and people analytics.

Dayforce, with implementation support from Seequelle, helped Goodwill Southern California replace spreadsheet-based scheduling with data-driven workforce management and a better employee experience. After rolling out Dayforce Advanced Scheduling, a quarter of stores generated 5% more revenue with fewer labor hours, sales per hour improved by 10%, and top locations reached 93% scheduling efficiency, while overtime and compliance penalties declined.
