City of Carrollton gets ahead for the good of its citizens

The City of Carrollton, a public-sector municipality in Texas, needed to modernize its paper-heavy HR processes and improve the employee experience while supporting a growing workforce of nearly 900 employees. Working with Dayforce, the city sought a more secure, purpose-built HCM platform to reduce manual work, improve data accuracy, and streamline recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and employee self-service.

Dayforce implemented Recruiting, Benefits, Performance, and the Experience Hub, along with mobile and analytics capabilities, to replace legacy processes with a connected HR system. As a result, Carrollton cut onboarding time by 50%, reduced vacancy rates from about 12% to 2.75%, and significantly improved employee and manager satisfaction. Dayforce also helped the city strengthen compliance, increase HR efficiency, and make faster, data-driven decisions.
