Orica, the global mining and infrastructure solutions company, needed to simplify a highly complex payroll environment spanning 34 separate systems across 48 countries. The challenge was to improve compliance, reduce manual effort, and ensure employees were paid accurately and consistently, which led Orica to partner with Dayforce and use Dayforce Payroll and Time and Attendance.
Dayforce is helping Orica run a phased global payroll transformation, consolidating systems onto a single platform and integrating HR and payroll processes. The first two phases have been completed across 18 countries, standardizing payroll, improving transparency and reporting, reducing manual work, and giving Orica better data and control over compliance and pay accuracy.
