Knox County YMCA Uses Daxko Facility Access To Offer 24 Hour Services

Knox County YMCA wanted to offer 24-hour access to better serve members who work non‑typical hours but needed secure facility access controls for unstaffed times. After evaluating options, Knox County YMCA selected Daxko and its Daxko Facility Access solution because it could integrate with their existing Daxko membership software.

Daxko implemented Daxko Facility Access integrated with the YMCA’s membership system and Daxko Mobile app, enabling members to use existing key cards or mobile barcodes, allowing staff to enable/disable access, view entry attempts, and remotely unlock doors. The rollout was smooth, expanded 24‑hour service across branches, and helped drive growth—Knox County YMCA reported a net increase of 1,000 members year‑over‑year.
