Florida International University Expands Campus Rec Offerings with SpectrumNG

Florida International University (FIU), one of the ten largest public universities in the U.S. and operating five South Florida campuses, needed a campus recreation management system that could handle rapid growth and more complex membership offerings as the university “is doubling in size.” FIU selected Daxko’s SpectrumNG to replace a limited system and support expanded membership levels, add-ons like locker rentals, and online/mobile access for students, faculty and staff.

Daxko implemented SpectrumNG starting at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus, enabling online accounts, mobile scanning, and robust reporting that gives staff the data needed for Student Government Association funding decisions. The solution has already unlocked new initiatives (camp programming and multi-campus memberships), improved staff access to operational data, and positioned FIU to scale recreation services across additional campuses as enrollment and facilities grow.
