The Akron Area YMCA launched Daxko Engage in mid-2015 to get predictive insight into member churn and segment members by interest/activity, but found front-line staff had no consistent process for recording engagement notes and follow-up tasks—leaving retention opportunities untracked.
Using Daxko Engage, the Akron Y introduced note-taking workflows and ran an internal competition to motivate staff; prior to the effort notes averaged about 75 per month across six branches, and during the one-month contest staff entered more than 2,300 notes. Daxko’s platform enabled tracking and auditing of note quality, and the Y now plans branch recognition and targeted training to use Daxko Engage data to focus outreach on members at highest risk of leaving.
