Town of Concord, Massachusetts inventories nearly 30,000 sites with Davey

The Town of Concord, Massachusetts partnered with Davey Resource Group, Inc. (DRG) to advance its urban forestry goals. The town needed a comprehensive strategy to manage its public trees, requiring a detailed inventory and a structured plan to guide future planting, maintenance, and budgeting.

Davey conducted a town-wide inventory of nearly 30,000 sites and used the data to create an urban forest management plan. The solution included delivering the data in TreeKeeper® software for ongoing management and establishing a community-involved tree planting program. Davey's work provided Concord with the tools to plan, prioritize, and budget effectively for its urban forest, while also handling the procurement, planting, and warranted maintenance of new trees.
