Three Valley Conservation Trust stabilizes 1,000 linear feet of stream with Davey

Three Valley Conservation Trust needed to restore and stabilize a degraded section of Indian Creek at Hoffman Farm to improve water quality and halt erosion. They contracted Davey Resource Group for wetland and stream restoration services.

Davey Resource Group implemented a bioengineered solution, stabilizing 1,000 linear feet of stream bank with treatments like regrading and vegetated rock toe. They established a riparian buffer with native plants, installed in-stream structures, and performed floodplain re-contouring. The work successfully reduced sediment and nutrients, improved habitat, and prevented further stream migration, enhancing the overall water quality of Indian Creek.
