The City of Kansas City, MO updates 2001 ash tree inventory data with Davey in 2015

The City of Kansas City, MO needed to protect its public ash trees from emerald ash borer while working from an outdated and inconsistent tree inventory. The city hired Davey through its Davey Resource Group (DRG) division to conduct a critical ash tree re-inventory.

Davey completed the tight-deadline inventory, enabling the city to efficiently contract treatments based on tree size and condition. Following this, Davey also developed an Urban Wood Utilization Plan, an Urban Forest Master Plan, and a Priority Planting Plan, providing a comprehensive strategy to boost urban forest health.
