Montgomery Township, New Jersey prepares solar installation with Davey in summer 2019

Montgomery Township, New Jersey sought to determine the potential for a solar installation on a property while understanding and minimizing impacts to ecological resources. They engaged Davey Resource Group (DRG), a division of Davey Tree, to conduct a preliminary desktop analysis of the site's ecological features.

Davey Resource Group performed a detailed wetland delineation and prepared a Letter of Interpretation (LOI) application for state regulators. DRG also prepared a municipal Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) that evaluated key resources, identified minimal project impacts, and proposed mitigation measures. This work by Davey enabled the township to move forward with its solar plan while ensuring environmental compliance.
