Michigan-based Utility maps over 2 million structures with Davey to reduce outages

A Michigan-based utility partnered with Davey Resource Group (DRG), a division of Davey, to address the challenge of frequent power outages. The utility needed a complete and accurate picture of its distribution system infrastructure to make proactive maintenance decisions and improve service reliability for its customers.

Davey Resource Group conducted a full system verification, mapping over 2 million overhead structures and thousands of underground structures. This work provided the utility with the most recent data on its entire network. As a result, the utility gained the information needed to decrease outage frequency and duration, upholding its commitment to reliable service for Michigan communities.
