Hoosier Energy completes culvert replacements in 6 months with Davey

A northeast U.S. utility, Hoosier Energy, faced damaged corrugated metal pipe culverts along its access roads in Maryland, which risked disrupting federally protected waters. They enlisted Davey, specifically its company Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (WSSI), for environmental consulting to manage the complex permitting and replacement process.

Davey's WSSI provided a full-service solution, handling delineation, permits, and construction to replace five culverts with more durable high-density polyethylene ones. The project was completed in just six months and under budget, leading Hoosier Energy to immediately engage Davey for a subsequent project in a different county.
