Ewing Cemetery advances to level 2 arboretum accreditation with Davey

Davey worked with Ewing Cemetery, a historic cemetery and public space in Trenton, New Jersey. The customer's challenge was to transform its grounds into a more sustainable, park-like environment and manage its landscape needs, including tree maintenance and pursuing arboretum accreditation.

The solution involved Davey Resource Group conducting a comprehensive landscape assessment and implementing TreeKeeper® software for tree inventory and management. Davey provided ongoing tree care, plantings, removals, and landscape enhancements. As a result, Davey helped Ewing develop an arboretum plan, achieve Level 1 accreditation, and prepare for future projects to reach Level 2 accreditation, with the vendor becoming an integral part of the cemetery's operational team.
