Following two devastating hurricanes, Helene and Milton, an electric investor-owned utility faced the immense challenge of restoring power across multiple southeastern states. Davey Tree provided storm response and utility line clearance services to help clear the widespread vegetation damage from rights-of-way and infrastructure.

Davey mobilized over 800 employees, supplementing hundreds of local crews, to support restoration efforts for 23 different utility entities. The solution involved extensive debris removal from roadways and utility lines over more than four weeks. As a result, Davey's rapid and large-scale response played a key role in helping communities restore power quickly, which was the critical first step in recovery, and crews later returned for secondary restoration work.
