The Flemish Government's Agency for Care and Health, through its Sandbox project, collaborated with the data science company Klarrio for an innovative experiment. Their challenge was to continuously screen online media coverage and public sentiment related to the Covid-19 pandemic and public health, as the volume and varying tones of reports made it difficult to maintain a coherent overview.

Datylon partnered with Klarrio to address this challenge, providing its data visualization expertise using the Datylon for Illustrator plug-in and Datylon Report Server. The solution automatically generated two daily reports that transformed the collected data into clear visualizations of media coverage and historical sentiment trends. This enabled the agency to monitor public sentiment effectively and be prepared to make informed, data-driven decisions in a timely manner.
