How Datylon helps Project Mahi track the collecting of ocean data

The customer, Project Mahi, faced the challenge of capturing and communicating data during its unprecedented attempt to cross the Atlantic Ocean with a solar-powered, autonomous vessel. To track this world-first journey and visualize the collected oceanographic data, Project Mahi partnered with the vendor, Datylon.

Datylon implemented a solution by developing a highly engaging online tracking dashboard. This dashboard delivered live data visualizations on the vessel's location and various atmospheric and oceanographic measures. As a result of this partnership, Project Mahi successfully completed its mission in March 2022, with the Mahi 2 vessel becoming the world's first autonomous vessel to cross the Atlantic using only solar power, traveling an astonishing 8,000 km.
