Mekorot Optimizes Project Management with DatuBIM

Mekorot, Israel’s National Water Company, needed a better way to manage and monitor complex construction projects involving many service providers, subcontractors, and stakeholders. To improve oversight, track work progress, and increase accountability and transparency, Mekorot evaluated Datumate’s DatuBIM construction data analytics platform for drone-based project monitoring.

Using Datumate’s DatuBIM, Mekorot created continuously updated digital twins of its 14-month water reservoir and pumping station project through monthly drone flights and automated reports. The platform helped the company compare work executed against design plans, detect deviations, measure earthworks and over-excavation, verify bills, and spot encroachment in protected areas, leading to faster reporting, better supervision, and lower operational costs.
